I’m Leala, a certified massage therapist in the Grand Lake district of Oakland.
I love bodywork! At a very young age, I discovered the healing power of therapeutic touch and I have been honing my passion for this work ever since. Few things are more fulfilling to me than seeing someone’s eyes light up with the realization that they can heal, they can feel better, and overcome their struggles with pain.
I am an eternal student, constantly absorbing books and classes, seeking ways to improve upon my skill set so I can give more to the people who trust me with their care. I am both an athlete and an artist at heart so I have dealt with more than my fair share of injuries as well as repetitive motion strains. I am interested in helping people find their way back home in their bodies.
I see bodywork as a powerful collaboration between the practitioner and the client and I am deeply interested in helping you navigate through whatever sensations are occurring in your body. I look forward to seeing you on my table soon!
